Description

The position of Director of Major Gifts, Latin America for CURE International will have the responsibility for major donor fund raising in the Latin American philanthropic community. The Director of Major Gifts, Latin America will develop and cultivate a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects in this community by meeting with donors, planning events and the strategic use of CURE personnel for these events, and taking vision trips to CURE hospitals, among other activities.


Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years experience in major gift development or related field, experience with marketing to the Hispanic population or international business experience preferred. This position also requires a self motivated individual with disciplined work habits, sensitivity to and understanding of cultural issues, spiritual maturity, a professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal and public communication skills, and a commitment to understanding CURE International's current ministry and history. Written and oral proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Agreement with the organization's Statement of Faith is required.
